Meet Dr Sam Baldock

PRINCIPAL CHIROPRACTOR - BSc(Chiro), BChiro

Dr Baldock is what you would call a well-travelled Chiropractor. Having grown up here in Margaret River he spent any free moment he had down at the beach surfing, fishing and diving. Having a love for the ocean eventually lead Dr Baldock to chasing waves around the world in his younger years until various injuries forced him to re-evaluate what was important in life. It wasn’t until he met a Chiropractor who diagnosed him with scoliosis that he finally started to see there might be more to life than just surfing.

Dr Baldock went on to study at Murdoch university. Throughout his degree he looked to combine his passion of sports and travel with his desire to help people, resulting in him working at World Surfing League events with the competitors, all the way to India where he worked in very low socioeconomic regions to help the locals who barely had access to basic medical services. Not having worked the travel bug out of his system Dr Baldock then flew halfway around the world once he graduated and ran various Chiropractic clinics in South America while also running charitable outreach programs in his free time in the low socioeconomic parts of Lima, Peru. Since then, Dr Baldock eventually made his way back to Australia where he has run Chiropractic practices all around the country from the Gold Coast in QLD, to the boot scooting town of Tamworth, the rugby loving capital Canberra and now finally opening his very own here on home soil.

They say home is where the heart is and through all of his travels Dr Baldock was never able to shake the connection he had with this incredibly special part of Australia. Together with his wife Siobhan and daughter Alaska (aka The Boss) he is excited to be able to take the incredibly diverse set of skills he has learnt and apply it to the people of Margaret River. There is very little that he hasn’t seen in the health care setting and while he might not have as much hair as he did when he first left the area, he is still as passionate as ever about helping those people who need it most.
