What is a Nutritionist?
Simply put, a Nutritionist helps people to use food to improve health and prevent and manage disease. We aim to identify the root cause of illness and through support and guidance on dietary choices, meal planning, and nutritional supplements we can promote health, prevent or manage various health conditions and bring the body back into homeostasis.
Our role includes discussing current eating habits, identifying areas for improvement, setting realistic goals, and providing ongoing support and motivation. Additionally, we address lifestyle and environmental factors influencing wellness, and utilize functional testing and supplemental support if needed.
We are an evidenced based field and stay updated on the latest nutritional research and developments to provide accurate and current information to our clients.
